Coffee on the Table, Georgetown Penang

Image
About the Place 164, Lebuh Pantai, Georgetown, Penang.  Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/THEDINEMANSIONcoffeeonthetable My Experience Located along the busy street of Georgetown (Penang), this little coffee house is filled with excited people waiting for their cup of 3D coffee art. Their 3D coffee's price ranges from roughly RM12-21.  I found this place on #penangcafe (Instagram), saw quite a few ppl posted pictures of it so decided to give it a try. The other famous place that was popular on #penangcafe was "Street Art Cafe, Penang", saw many ppl posting their fried ice cream (looks real good). I'll try that some other day.  The outside:  The place: 3D art coffee menu:  We had their Mocha (Pig):  Hazelnut Latte (Elephant) & Hazelnut Chocolate (Cat and Bear) We were there to chill for the afternoon, so that's all we ordered. The taste of their coffee is just okayyyy, a lil too milky and sweet. The place was really comfortable, a combination of antiqu

About the Place  No.2, Ground Floor,  20/70A,, Jalan Sri Hartamas 22,  Desa Sri Hartamas, 50480 Kuala Lumpur (Next to Bricks and Barrels, big red signboard) Website: https://www.facebook.com/nnkualalumpur  My Experience People have been talking about this place, about how it is from Bali and it is really famous there. But nope, I have not tried the one there so I can't compare.  This place is not hard to find if you know Hartamas, it is just next to Bricks and Barrels. Once you reached the street, you will see 2 big read signboard, so pretty hard to miss.  The restaurant: It was a hot Sunday afternoon and, the air-conditioned area was full, so where we sat was hot but they did compensate this with the fan. Still, it was a little stuffy.  The evolution of... Our orders:  Naughty Nuri’s 1995 Signature BBQ Pork Spare Ribs RM39 per slab Just nice for two person. BF loved the sauce, it was too spicy for me. Mr. Dakgalbi, Citta Mall, Ara Damansara

About the Place G-29, Citta Mall Ara Damansara  (Opposite Stick House) My Experience Located in one of the corners in Citta Mall, Mr. Dakgalbi was not easy to spot. But thanks to the 2 staffs giving out flyers and inviting us in, we decided to give it a try. Mr. Dakgalbi is not new, it has already established its name in KL (Mont Kiara and Bukit Bintang), which seems quite popular. The restaurant was big and therefore ventilation was good (I don’t think I want to be in a small smoky room). At the end of the meal, we didn’t smell like we were soaked in Korean BBQ smoke. We ordered the normal chicken set for 2 people and added on the ramen: All in all, the good was okay, nothing bad, acceptable. But I would prefer Uncle Jang (Puchong) over this.  What others say?
